Mr. ZHOU Heping becomes National Librarian of China

Mr. ZHOU Heping, ex-Vice-Minister of Culture, becomes Director of National Library of China today.

During the meeting of senior staff of National Library of China this afternoon, Mr. CAI Wu, Minister of Culture, announced that Mr. ZHOU Heping becomes Director of the Library, and Mr. ZHAN Furui, ex-Director, becomes Deputy Diretor.

Mr. Zhou took the position of Deputy Director of National Library of China during 1995-2001 and the position of Vice-Minister of Culture during 2001-2009.
