Colorful Memories, a Video Clip about the Foreign Acquisitions & Cataloging Department, NLC

Colorful Memories, a Video Clip about the Foreign Acquisitions & Cataloging Department, National Library of China, was released today at:
It shows all aspects of the department, including routine work, researches and organizational culture.
As the director of the department, I am very glad to have the video clip released at the end of 2012, which is the second year of my term of office in this department after my three-year term in the Chinese Acquisitions & Cataloging Department.

China Library Annual Conference held in Dongguan

China Library Annual Conference was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, during November 21-24.
I spoke about international cataloging activities at a forum and a session, and chaired a session on resource development, which won "Best Session" of the conference during the Closing Session.
The Conference used to be the Annual Conference of the Library Society of China, and is now sponsored by the Ministry of Culture.
There were 3000 participants for the conference this year.

China Library Annual Conference is to be held next week during November 21-24 in Dongguan, a small city between Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
The Conference used to be the Annual Conference the of the Library Society of China, and is now sponsored by the Ministry of Culture.

National Library of China promotes the National Access to Cambridge Journals Digital Archive

National Library of China (NLC) just signed an agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) for the National licence of the Cambridge Journals Digital Archive, which includes all back issues of the journals published by Cambridge University Press.
NLC and CUP jointly held several promotion meetings in Guangzhou, Shanghai and other cities to help librarians around China to provide services to their users.
