Photos of the IFLA Cataloguing Section in Milan

During the long holiday (October 1-8) for the National Day (October 1), I spent time to upload some photos of the IFLA Cataloguing Section (Standing Committee meeting and Open Programme) and the Division IV (Bibliographic Control) Open Programme during the IFLA General Conference in Milan to my personal website at the following URL:
Actually, the Open Programme of the Division IV is the last one, because the new IFLA structure will be effective after the Milan conference. We didn't have our social hour this year, and celebrate the publication of IFLA Cataloguing Principles (in 20 languages) immediately after the open programme instead. During the reception, Barbara Tillett told me: "It is a hard job, but we did it." I am glad that the Chinese version is done by some Chinese catalogers and me. I saw our names in the Chinese part of the book.

To be a noble lenient being is to have a make of openness to the world, an ability to trust undeterminable things beyond your own restrain, that can lead you to be shattered in uncommonly outermost circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something very important thither the prerequisite of the ethical life: that it is based on a corporation in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a weed than like a treasure, something rather feeble, but whose acutely particular attraction is inseparable from that fragility.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
